Renae Watchman, PhD (Diné), is Bitter Water, born for Towering House, Bird Clan (Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma), and Red Running Through the Water. An associate professor in Indigenous Studies at McMaster University, she teaches Indigenous literatures and film, and is the co-editor of Indianthusiasm: Indigenous Responses.
