Publish With Us

University of Regina Press publishes scholarly and trade books in the humanities, social sciences and literary arts on a wide range of subjects covering Indigenous themes, Canadian history, political topics, environmental topics, social justice, and gender and sexuality.

Our First Nations Language Readers series is ongoing. Our goal is to publish books on all of Canada's sixty-plus Indigenous languages.

The Oskana Series in Poetry and Poetics publishes contemporary poetry and essays on poetry's cultural role. The series is still expanding and open to all genres of poetry.

When considering manuscripts, we look at both the subject of the book and the quality of the writing. With a mission to "save the humanities from itself," we are looking not only for top-notch scholarship but also for writing that can be understood by non-specialists.

We do not publish fiction, nor children's picture books. We will not consider manuscripts that are being considered by another publisher.
